Chesapeake Energy donated a truck from the company's fleet to the Joshua Fire Department last week. The department will use the truck to pull a special operations trailer. Dispatch glitch delays fire response (Posted 9/17/2009 09:34 am)
Keene firefighters put out a structure fire in the 1800 block of County Road 909 Saturday. The location is close to the Joshua fire station, but the county's emergency dispatch system was down and Joshua firefighters were not notified. Keene has its own dispatch system.
It took firefighters 40 minutes to respond to a Joshua-area fire on Saturday thanks to a problem with the system that dispatches the county’s volunteer fire departments.   More...
