Joshua -- Willie Mae Smith, 88, of Joshua, a homemaker, died Monday, February 22, 2010, in Keene.

 Funeral services are 10 a.m. Thursday, February 25, 2010, at the Mountain Valley Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Caddo Cemetery. Visitation was 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

 Willie Mae was born April 24, 1921 in Joshua to Adell and Annie Howell Dahn. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Willie Mae loved working in the yard and gardening, reading her bible and going to church. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

 Her parents; two brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

 Survivors include her husband, James Ira Smith of Joshua; daughter, Sonja Bransom and husband, Marvin, of Joshua; son, James “Jim” Smith and wife, Fran, of Joshua; grandchildren, Sheri Hicks, Mark Bransom and wife, Brenda, Sandy Farmer and husband, Michael, Sunny Brewster and husband, Billy; great-grandchildren, Marcus Bransom and wife, Maddelon, Marah Bransom, Amberly Hicks, Autumn Armstrong and husband, Jacob, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
